Arrival
The first pour and guest setup are ready before the host begins.
An experience with a clear purpose
Request a private NYC gallery wine event with venue-approved serving zones, a clear guest route, and a tasting format that respects the exhibition.
WineTasting.NYC plans events directly and with hosting partners. Your proposal confirms the operator, contracting party, wine sourcing, inclusions, and availability before you book.

How the room runs
The first pour and guest setup are ready before the host begins.
The tasting has enough structure to create discovery without becoming a lecture.
Food, glassware, leftover wine, and cleanup responsibilities are clear before booking.
The experience
Create an elegant wine moment around an exhibition without treating the gallery like a conventional dining room. Request a private NYC event with approved service zones, careful setup, and a short hosted format. Venue permission and operational requirements come first.
Get the gallery's approved floor plan and beverage rules.
Identify who can authorize layout changes on the day.
Confirm cleanup, spill response, insurance documents, and access requirements with the venue.
Updated
A gallery event starts with the venue's rules, not a bottle list. Obtain written guidance on food and beverage zones, proximity to works, glassware, furniture, and cleanup. A beautiful open room may contain areas where drinks cannot travel. Design the tasting around permitted circulation so staff do not spend the evening redirecting guests. A short introduction in an approved hospitality area may be more suitable than stations scattered through the exhibition. The final format should support the art viewing rather than interrupt it.
Use this as a starting brief. These are proposed directions, not a fixed package, guaranteed bottle list, or scheduled public event.
| Stage | Focus | Planning purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Before booking | Venue rules and approvals | Gallery representative |
| Setup | Protected staging and service zones | Operator and venue lead |
| Guest arrival | Explain permitted circulation | Welcome team |
| Tasting moment | Brief hosted segment | Wine host |
| Closeout | Inventory and room check | Venue and event lead |
Walk the intended route with the venue before finalizing stations. Leave clear space around entrances, display areas, and any restricted surfaces. Avoid assuming existing furniture can hold bottles or glasses. Agree where deliveries wait and how packing materials leave the room. If an artist talk is part of the evening, schedule a service pause and keep collection noise away from the speaker.
Share your date or date range, guest count, NYC location, and total spending allowance. Tell us whether you already have a venue and what you want the host to handle. The quote should distinguish wine, hosting, food, rentals, venue charges, and service where applicable.
