Terms & Event Policies

These website terms explain how proposal requests work. The signed proposal or event agreement for your event will control the final scope, pricing, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and responsibilities.
Proposal requests are not bookings
Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a date, create a service obligation, or require payment. An event is booked only after the parties accept the applicable proposal or agreement and any required deposit is received.
Pricing and scope
Website prices are starting points, not universal quotes. Guest count, wine selection, venue, staffing, food, rentals, travel, permits, taxes, payment processing, shipping, and other requirements may change the final price. The event proposal will identify included items and open assumptions.
Venue and vendor requirements
The client is responsible for providing accurate venue information and obtaining approvals under its control. Building access, outside-vendor rules, alcohol policies, insurance requests, load-in, security, refrigeration, service space, and cleanup requirements must be confirmed before the event.
Alcohol service
Alcohol requirements depend on the location, event format, venue, service model, and participating vendors. WineTasting.NYC may require licensed or permitted partners, decline a format, or revise the scope when necessary. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 21 or anyone who appears intoxicated. Guests are responsible for arranging safe transportation.
Changes, cancellation, and refunds
The accepted proposal or event agreement will state the event-specific change, rescheduling, cancellation, and refund terms. Costs already committed to wine, shipping, venues, rentals, staffing, food, permits, or other third parties may be non-refundable when identified in that agreement.
Website content
Website content is general planning information and may not fit every venue or event. It is not legal, licensing, insurance, tax, medical, or safety advice. Requirements should be confirmed with the appropriate venue, insurer, licensed provider, or authority.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful or fraudulent requests, or copy substantial portions of its branding and content without permission.
Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, Cellar & Board LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Event-specific liability terms belong in the accepted agreement. These website terms are governed by New York law.
