Use the office when convenience matters

Office tastings reduce travel time and make attendance easier. They work well for team events, quarterly gatherings, and end-of-day celebrations.

The tradeoff is control. Building rules, cleanup, refrigeration, and room layout need to be checked.

Use a private venue when polish matters

Private venues usually improve arrival experience, acoustics, service flow, and atmosphere. They are often better for clients, executives, and milestone events.

The tradeoff is cost and coordination. Venue minimums, approved vendors, corkage, and staffing rules can affect the proposal.

The decision rule

If the event is mainly internal, the office is usually enough. If the event must impress external guests or senior stakeholders, a private venue often earns its cost.

When unsure, ask for both options in the intake so the proposal can compare them.
